So the Christmas festivities are really cranking up now ... Even those not keen on this time of year must admit the atmosphere of fast approaching holidays, tinsel and even those Christmas songs can bring a smile to your face. Markets and Parades are in their height now and this week we have ... ![]() The Orewa Christmas Twilight Market on tomorrow evening from 5-8 pm in the Community Hall. A special night of Christmas shopping with a selection of over 80 stalls including arts, crafts, gifts and yummy food. Music, face painting, hungerball and of course Santa will be there at 6.30 pm! Also on tomorrow is the Shelly Bay "All Things Children" Christmas market. Held at The Lodge, Mapuia in Wellington from 6-9 pm this is the perfect venue for those kiddies goodies! The Original Gypsy Fair decends on Pukekohe this weekend with yet another opportunity to pick up some fabulous, unique Christmas gifts. There are also plenty of Santa Parades and Festivals to enjoy this weekend including the Birkenhead Rotary Santa Parade, Mangere Santa Parade and Waiheke Island Santa Parade. Of course you can always visit your local regular markets which always have an irresistible selection of stalls and ideas for that hard to buy person for Christmas and it doesn't have to break the budget!
