This is going to be our last post before the Christmas break. It's good to know there are lots of great things happening and markets and events over the holiday period and so we thought we'd just link you to what's on for you ...
Most markets go all the way through although do check their website or Facebook page if you aren't sure. If we don't have a link just Google the market name and you should be able to find any changes in the holiday dates.
Enjoy Marlborough markets if you are travelling in the South Island, Hibiscus Coast markets if you are north of Auckland or Taranaki markets if you are in that beautiful part of our country just to name a few!
You'll find the Original Gypsy Fair in Waihi just after Christmas and there are still some Christmas markets in Parnell and Ohoka to enjoy this week! Then of course there is plenty to do as we head into the new year with January markets.
January is a wonderful month to indulge and enjoy a good Kiwi Festival and there are quite a number on which you can see in our January Festivals including the fabulous Hibiscus Rodders Beach Festival later in the month.
Remember we are always updating these pages as new markets and Festivals come to light so keep checking back and let us know of any we haven't got listed ... We also confirm our market calendar has now been updated as you couldn't see the events correctly - thanks to Richard from SpiceCraft who alerted us to fix the problem!!
And just a reminder there are some fabulous small businesses out there who can still solve any late Christmas present problems you may have including Justine's World Organics with beautiful skincare, Erase Your Face a gentle and effective way to get rid of makeup and Magick Potions with her divine array of gorgeous items great for "healing the emotional, spiritual and the physical" - which we all need a little of at this time of year!!
So on that note I'll bid you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Enjoy your holidays, relax, spend time with families and if you are heading away have safe travels! We'll be back refreshed and full of great news from Monday 9 January xxx
What could be more fun than wandering around your local market. Fresh baking smells, lovingly handcrafted items, each one unique and special, delicious home grown produce - that's what we love and we hope you do too!
